Nur mal zur info:

Ich werde die Tage den Flash Speicher auslöten, da es aber leider nur sehr wenige Programmiergeräte gibt die solch einen Chip mit 56Pins auslesen und beschreiben können, wird es wohl noch einige Zeit in anspruch nehmen bis ich zu einem Ergebniss gekommen bin.

Ich werde mich hier natürlich melden sobald ich Neuigkeiten habe.

Red Screen is back - hab ja gesagt, dass ich bestimmt zu verbastelt gewesen bin..

Ich vermute sehr stark dass der Stecker meiner Red Screen beim update 3.30 gekappt wurde..
bevor ich iwas auslöte probier ich jetzt erstmal auf ne Vorgängerversion zu kommen..

Beim 3.50 Redscreen und anschliessendem Downgrade hats doch bei dem Link den ich gepostet habe auch geklappt

Das hatten wir doch schon durch. Das hat ne ganz andere Ursache, da ist was beim Downgraden schief gegangen. Der normale Red Screen kommt aber nicht bei einem Update, der kommt einfach so.

Hab nur kurz mal ne frage wenn man den psgroove oder den downgrade ausführt auf einer red screen konsole was tut sich dann genau. Zeigt der psgroove die bei euch die Indikation für das es funktioniert hat. Ich glaub es sollte irgendeine LED leuchten. Und bei downgrade tut sich da was ? Ich weiß dass der red screen nachher noch da ist aber wird versucht die konsole downzugraden und welche version wird nach dem downgrade angezeigt im recovery menü.

in den Service Mode direkt kommt man leider net - die Game OS der Red Screen hab ich in keiner Form zu sehen bekommen. der Downgrade scheint aber normal durchzulaufen... Sprich die 'Punkte 1 - 9 des Downgradevorgangs laufen normal ab... nur bei punkt 10 --> der 1. Start wirds wieder Redscreen.

Manchmal sieht man für eine Millisekunde das GamOS booten, bevor der RedScreen zuschlägt.

Ich habe dasselbe SEM-001 Board noch als 2. Ausführung zu liegen. Ich weiß nicht ob der Flash fehlerhaft ist. Diese Konsole hat den spätesten YLOD den ich je gesehen habe (sie schaltet etwa ab wenn das 2. piepen beim VGA recovery kommt..

Ich werde trotzdem mal versuchen mit Hilfe von Takeshis Grafik schonma nach und nach Kabels dranzulöten.

Das v3 Board SEM-001 hat aber 2x den großen NAND Flash, die v6 den kleinen NOR Flash, das ist dir bewusst?

Oke ich denke das sieht ja mal garnicht so schlecht aus zumindest ist der Red Screen nicht in einem isolierten Zustand wo er garnichts macht. Er mounted zumindest den Usb stick und versucht dann downzugraden.

Aber wenn man dann ins Recovery Menu geht steht dann dort die Downgegradede Version oder noch die alte.??

Und beim psgroove leuchtet die LED (Indikation dass der Psgroove funktioniert hat)?

Ich versuch gerade einen Payload so abzuändern dass er automatisch den /dev_flash auf /dev_usb abändert was aber wahrscheinlich das problem ist, ist dass der andere usb stick gemounted werden muss bevor er das remapping macht. Dann müsste es möglich sein die Firmware vom usb zu starten.

Ist jetzt keine langfristige lösung, da ist sicher der flash tausch die bessere variante. Aber ich würd mal gerne sehen ob das überhaupt funktioniert

Du kannst Downgraden bis du schwarz wirst, den Grund dafür findest Du in der 12 Zeile deiner LOG Datei....

Oke na wie du glaubst mal schauen ich hab zwar schon etwas erfahrung mit assembler und c programmierung aber die ppc architektur ist neu darum tue ich mir etwas schwerer. Mal gucken was rauskommt ich hab nie gesagt dass es sooo einfach ist natürlich muss man etwas zeit investieren.

Die Custom Firmware lässt sich auch so vom usb stick laden ohne einen backup von dem eigenen Flash zu haben da gibt es ein eigenes tutorial.

mal sehen vl. stell ich mir das alles zu einfach vor man wird sehen man macht Fehler lernt daraus aber man lernt auch das system kennen also schaden kann es nicht!

ich krieg krebs bei den ganzen versionen..

Recovery menü funktioniert übrigens auch nicht mehr .. Da schaltet se ab

@bastelfront du hast schon einiges mit dem psgroove probiert weißt du oder könntest du probieren ob der psgroove auf deiner red screen konsole funktioniert aber wenn zusätzlich noch ein anderer usb stick in der konsole hängt?
