Es geht um das herausfinden, ab welcher Seriennummer sich welches Board befindet.
Interessant sind eigentlich nur Konsolen mit den 8er DateCodes.
So viel ich weiß, ist bei den v17b Konsolen mit GH-071-32 Board (BOOT-ROM v2.20) der Autostart von FMCB möglich und bei denen mit GH-071-42 (BOOT-ROM v2.30) nicht mehr.

Ich bin etwas enttäuscht.
Bei eBay hatte ich vor etwa einem Monat eine SCPH-90004 v17c 8D mit Serial HC8966559 gesehen.
Das es eine v17c war erkannte ich, weil er vom Modbo 5 Einbau Fotos mit reingestellt hat.
Jetzt denke ich aber, das Foto war von einer anderen Konsole.
Denn ich hatte vor einer Woche eine SCPH-90004 v17b 8D mit zensierten Barcode bestellt.
Bzw. ich fragte vorher, ob der Verkäufer mir die erste Ziffer mitteilen kann und bekam eine 8 als Antwort.
Ich dachte perfekt und hoffte auf eine leicht kleinere Seriennumer als die oben genannte Konsole.
Das es eine v17b war, erkannte ich an den Trennzähnen vom Mainboard, wenn man in die Kühlöffnung am Boden schaut.
Eben kam sie an und die Seriennummer ist später. >:(

Ich habe zur Sicherheit in die Konsole geschaut und es hat sich direkt am Kühlblech bestätigt, dass es eine v17b ist.
Also denke ich nun, der jenige mit der v17c hatte Fotos von einer anderen Konsole bzw. Mainboard eingestellt.
Und jetzt bin ich noch mehr verwirrt.
Gibt es überhaupt v17c PAL Konsolen mit DateCode 8D?

Interessant, ich habe eine PS2 mit der gleichen Seriennummer HC8966559 (https://www.ebay.de/itm/156309892759) gefunden.
Die Trennzähne sind sehr schwer zu erkennen, aber wenn man Gamma erhöht, erkennt man, dass es eine v17b bzw. ein GH-071-42 Board ist.
Der Penner hatte somit tatsächlich ein falsches Foto verwendet.
Die Konsole nehme ich aus der Liste.
Ich habe eine SCPH-90004 v17b 8D mit HC9051943 bei eBay gefunden.
Er hat Einbaubilder mit angehangen.

Komischerweise hat der Verkäufer ein beendetes Angebot mit einer v17c 8D und HC8979007.
Entweder hat er die Fotos vertauscht, oder Sony hat später noch ältere Boards verbaut.

Die habe ich nun nachgetragen.
